Blogs are cool if you’re disciplined enough to post interesting material regularly. I’m not and I don’t even have that much to say. Thankfully, I have been pretty disciplined in learning to build one.

This website is actually a WordPress website. It doesn’t really look like a typical WordPress theme, and this blog section is pretty over-the-top with its strappy design. Since this website is my training and testing ground, nearly everything I’ve learned in the past couple years is in here somewhere. Creating custom WordPress themes involves working with all the features of blog posts, like allowing comments and filtering posts by author, month, categories, tags, etc. It’s definitely been the most complex part of coding this theme.

So that’s why I have a blog. I’ll use this space for some of my overflow information — stuff that most people wouldn’t care about. That being the case, maybe most of my site belongs here. 😀
