Mastodon

I’m not too crazy about the new management over at Twitter. I thought I’d check out Mastadon. I’m so tired of rich narcissists messing up the things I like.

update: I like Mastodon. It’s very similar to Twitter in use, but you have to choose a server at setup which is a little weird. I don’t think it matters too much which one you pick but, to me, it seemed prudent to choose one of the popular ones. I’ve currently got three accounts only because I didn’t know which server to choose and which name I wanted to sign up with.

I’m also on mastodon.social and mstdn.social. These are the two big ones. I think mstdn.social is performing better so far. It was able to import a .csv file of people I followed, and the other one seems to have choked.
